UP Warriorz (UPW) will battle it out with Mumbai Indians (MI) in match 16 of the ongoing Women's Premier League (WPL) on Thursday, March 6 at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. UPW's home run began in an inauspicious note as they went down to GG in thier last match by 81 runs. One more defeat, and the UPW will be out of the playoffs race. Meanwhile, MI are currently placed third on the points table.
The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side have a chance to go second on the points table if they beat UPW today. MI have so far lacked consistency in thier campign. Bowling has looked a bit of color as, barring Nat Sciver-Brunt, the others have not been able to take wickets at regular intervals. MI would be hoping their bowlers hit top gear during the business end of the WPL 2025 season.
