Former India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, who is currently playing the International Masters League T20 2025, reminisced his teenage memories upon his visit to Vadodara.
Tendulkar is captaining the India Masters in the tournament. As the second leg of the competition is underway at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara, Tendulkar, while practicing, took a trip down the memory lane.
The legend of Indian cricket shared that he had visited the venue with the Mumbai Ranji team when he was 14 years old.
"This ground which you can see behind, I came here as a 14-year-old with the Mumbai Ranji team. I was a part of the 14-member squad. This was our dressing room (pointing towards the same). All those memories have suddenly risen up. I still remember there was a shamiana (Tent) put here and lot of crowd had come to watch the game. I am here for a different reason," Tendulkar said as quoted in the video he posted on X.

The 51-year-old also shared the glimpses of his batting practice in the video where he could be seen playing all of his iconic shots from the straight drive to the pull.
Sachin Tendulkar’s India Masters Occupy Top Position on Points Table
India Masters are riding on a three-match winning streak under the leadership of Tendulkar. They first defeated Sri Lanka Masters by four runs. India then got the better of England Masters and South Africa Masters to move to the top of the points table.
Tendulkar and Co. will face Australia Masters on March 5 in their fourth match of the season.
