India march into this contest following a one-sided win versus South Africa Masters. Bowling first, the Indian spinners applied a chokehold on South Africa, bundling them for just 85 runs. Rahul Sharma claimed a hat-trick, while Yuvraj Singh also took three wickets. India completed the run-chase in 11 overs with eight wickets to spare.
Australia lost to Sri Lanka Masters by three wickets. In a high-scoring affair, the Aussies brought up a total of 222 runs on the scoreboard. The match went down to the wire with Sri Lanka hitting the winning runs in the 20th over.
