With nothing to lose, UP Warriorz (UPW) played fantastically well against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the ongoing Women's Premier League (WPL). Georgia Voll starred for UPW with bat in hand with a stunning knock unbeaten of (99) to propel UPW to a score of 225 runs. Voll looked superb right from the start of the innings and managed to seamlessly shift gears. RCB bowlers looked shocked by the assault of Voll. The youngster's score was the joint-highest score in WPL history. UPW's score of 225 was the highest ever recorded in WPL.
Electing to field first, RCB's decision massively backfired as Voll and Grace Harris put on 77 runs for the first wicket in just 42 balls. Harris took a lot of pressure off Voll and attacked RCB's opening bowlers Renuka Thakur and Kim Garth. While the visitors managed to take the wicket of Harris for (389) runs, number three batter Navgire ensured the efforts of Voll and Harris were not going in vain by playing a blazing cameo of 46 off just 16 balls. It was her innings that gave UPW the much-needed impetus in managing to post a mammoth score of 200 plus target.

Voll's stunning knock puts RCB on the backfoot
Every batter of UPW chipped in with a useful cameo and helped Voll to play freely. If Navigire's knock was all about power, Henry's and Ecclestone's knock was all about ensuring UPW finished strongly. The duo supported Voll well and ensured RCB conceded their highest-ever WPL total.
