Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has called the shots in the first 10 overs of the Indian run-chase in Dubai. Chasing 252 to win, the Men in Blue have raced to xx runs courtesy of some brilliant batting from Rohit.
He is already past his half-century as Shubman Gill has played second fiddle. He has almost walked the talk of playing aggressive cricket and displayed it in his innings so far in the Champions Trophy final.
India have cashed in on the absence of Matt Henry who has been a thorn in the flesh for India in the past. Rohit has not allowed Nathan Smith, the right-arm pacer who replaced Henry to settle down. He has been equally aggressive against the two other pacers Kyle Jamieson and William ORourke.

Rohit Sharma Notches Up Fifty Inside First 10 Overs
The fast start by Rohit will help the dressing room ease their nerves a little bit. So far in the first 10 overs, India have controlled the run-chase courtesy of Rohit's fast start. With the likes of Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer to follow and India's batting depth beyond that, the chase should be easy for India. India still require more than 180 runs to win the final.
However, with New Zealand, there is always a fightback expected and the slow bowlers are expected to bring the team back into the game just like the Indian spinners did. Mitchell Santner who has already picked up seven wickets with the ball, holds the key for his side.
Earlier, in the game, the Kiwis won the toss and opted to bat first. They scored 251/7 courtesy of fifties by Daryl Mitchell (63 off 101) and Michael Bracewell (53* off 40) The Indian spinners shared five wickets between themselves as the pacers went the distance.
