The sixth match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 brings Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) face-to-face at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on March 26. RR’s tournament began with a tough loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). SRH’s Ishan Kishan smashed his first IPL hundred, powering his team to a massive 286/6. RR’s bowlers had no reply. Though Sanju Samson, as an impact sub, and Dhruv Jurel fought hard, RR ended at 242/6, falling short by 44 runs.
KKR, the 2024 IPL champs, also stumbled in their opener at Eden Gardens against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). On a flat track, KKR managed just 174. Virat Kohli’s unbeaten fifty guided RCB to victory in 16.2 overs, handing KKR a seven-wicket defeat.
