Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj has found himself amid unwanted controversy. He was not selected in the Indian squad for the Champions Trophy 2025. He was also rested for the ongoing T20I series against England.
Amid all of this, the Indian pacer has been reportedly linked up with legendary singer Asha Bhosle's granddaughter Zanai Bhosle. The rumours emerged on social media platforms, Zanai Bhosle shared her photo with Mohammed Siraj.
The picture created a lot of stir on social media after which Zanai and Siraj both responded to the criticism and cleared the air in the process. After the rumours emerged on social media platforms, Zanai shared her photo with Siraj. She said, "Mere pyaare bhai (my dear brother) (sparkles and flower emojis)."Â
The Indian pacer reshared the story on his Instagram profile with his reaction saying  "Meri behen ke jaisi koi behna nahin. Bina iske kahin bhi mujhe rehna nahin. Jaise hai chaand sitaaron mein, meri behna hai ek hazaaro mein (There is no one like my sister. I don't want to stay anywhere without her. I sister is one of a kind like the moon and stars)."

Mohammed Siraj Axed From India's Champions Trophy Squad
Meanwhile, Siraj, the Indian pacer had a tough Test series against Australia. He took 20 wickets in the series but was still criticised of not backing up Jasprit Bumrah properly throughout the five-match series.
The Indian captain and the coach explained the reason behind Siraj's snub from India's Champions Trophy side that was picked on January 18.
"We wanted Arshdeep to come and play that role of bowling at the back end and (Mohammed) Shami, obviously we saw what he did with the new ball and that is where we feel that Siraj's effectiveness comes down a little bit if he's not going to take the new ball" Agarkar said on Siraj missing out.
