George Linde Joins PSL

Peshawar Zalmi has signed South African all-rounder George Linde as a replacement for Corbin Bosch, who opted to join the IPL team Mumbai Indians instead of participating in the PSL.

Corbin Bosch was selected in the diamond category during the PSL 2025 draft but went unsold in the mega auction earlier this year. He was later signed by the Mumbai Indians to replace the injured Lizaad Williams. Bosch joined the Mumbai Indians without informing the PSL management, which resulted in the PSL serving a legal notice to him.

Peshawar Zalmi replace Corbin Bosch with George Linde

In response, Peshawar Zalmi chose George Linde to fill in for Bosch in the recent replacement draft held on the 24th of this month.

Linde is an emerging all-rounder in South Africa and has recently established himself as an all-format player. He has played three Tests, 16 T20Is, and three ODIs. Known for his economical bowling, his T20I economy rate is below 7. Linde was part of MI Cape Town, where he played a significant role in their title-winning season, scoring 195 runs at an average of 17.73 and taking 11 wickets at an impressive economy rate of 6.29.

Additionally, Alex Carey has agreed to play for Islamabad United for half the season, replacing Rassie van der Dussen.
