Gujarat Titans (GT) will host Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the fifth match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 scheduled at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on March 25, Tuesday.
Gujarat Titans have Shubman Gill at the helm. Gill will be coming prepared this season. GT finished eighth on the points table last year. It was his first season as the captain and this time he will try to implement those learnings. While the Titans retained Gill, Sai Sudharsan, Rahul Tewatia, Shahrukh Khan and Rashid Khan, they have added big names like Jos Buttler, Kagiso Rabada and Prasidh Krishna to their squad for the IPL 2025.
Punjab Kings are coming in mostly revamped. They have Shreyas Iyer as their skipper. Ricky Ponting is the head coach of the side. While they retained Prabhsimran Singh and Shashank Singh and bought back Arshdeep Singh and Harpreet Brar, they brought in more firepower with the inclusion of stars like Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Marco Jansen and Yuzvendra Chahal.
