It is finally good news for Avesh Khan and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Ace pacer Avesh Khan has now been declared medically fit to take part in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025). As per reports by ESPNcricinfo the BCCI Medical team has granted their green signal to LSG.
Avesh Khan was bought by the Lucknow outfits for a price of 9.75 crores in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction. But the player suffered a right knee injury and has been out of action since January. His last outing in national colors came in November of last year when India took on South Africa in the T20I series.

Owing to his right knee issue, Avesh Khan also missed Madhya Pradesh's final group-stage game in the Ranji Trophy. He has been at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence where he continued his rehabilitation. Now, as per reports, he has cleared his fitness tests and is ready to rejoin LSG to take part in IPL 2025.
It remains to be seen if Avesh can be included in the match-day squad when LSG takes on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for their second clash in the tournament. The Lucknow side lost their opening game to Delhi Capitals by 1 wicket in a thriller at Visakhapatnam.
