Meanwhile, Kohli took a 136 innings to get to 6000 runs. Williamson and Warner both took 139 innings each. Babar Azam, despite getting to that special landmark could not go beyond and play a long innings. He was eventually dismissed by Nathan Smith the Kiwi all-rounder.

Meanwhile, ahead of the final ODI against New Zealand, Babar Azam spoke to the reporters and asked them to stop calling him "The King". The name was given to him by his fans but in the presser, he has clarified that he does not like to be called by that name.
"Please stop calling me King. I am not King, I am not there yet. There are new roles for me now. Whatever I have done before is in the past. Every match is a fresh challenge, and I must focus on the present and future," Babar told the reporters.
