New Zealand have been unstoppable so far. Kyle Jamieson and Jacob Duffy ripped through Pakistan's batting line-up in the opener, bundling the the visitors for just 91 runs. The hosts then completed the run-chase in 10.1 overs.
The Pakistan's inexperienced batting unit showed some fight in the second game with their captain Salman scoring 46 runs to take his side to 135/9 in 15 overs in a rain-affected affair. Kiwi openers Tim Seifert and Finn Allen walked through the run-chase like a breeze as New Zealand won comprehensively by five wickets.
Pakistan shook things up, dropping Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, but their batting contingent has not been able to produce the desired results. Their bowlers too have faltered, forcing them into a must-win situation.
