Indian wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul and actress Athiya Shetty have welcomed their baby girl, as announced by KL Rahul on Instagram.
The couple revealed their pregnancy in November 2023, and they celebrated the arrival of their daughter on Monday evening. Initially, Rahul was set to play for the Delhi Capitals in their match against the Lucknow Super Giants but chose to miss the game to be by Athiya’s side for the birth of their child.
It was previously stated that KL Rahul would miss the first match of the season due to a personal commitment, which had not been disclosed at the time. Now, it is official that he was present for the birth of his baby girl.
Celebrities have been sending their best wishes to the couple, including the child's grandfather, Sunil Shetty, and actress Shanaya Kapoor.
