Karachi Kings (KK) will bump heads with Lahore Qalandars (LQ) in the sixth match of the Pakistan Super League 2025 (PSL 2025) at the National Stadium in Karachi on April 15.

Karachi won their opening match against Multan Sultans, while Lahore defeated Quetta Gladiators by 79 runs after losing to Islamabad United in their campaign opener.

The Kings are pumped after pulling off a wild chase against Multan Sultans, gunning down 235 runs with James Vince’s unreal 101 runs off 43 deliveries and Khushdil Shah chipping in a quick-fire 60 runs. 

David Warner’s Kings are all about that batting muscle. Vince is stealing the show, but Shan Masood is due for a big one. Shoaib Malik still has the smarts to anchor or finish. The problem lies in their bowling unit which looked shaky in the last game with Hasan Ali, Adam Milne, and Abbas Afridi struggling.

Shaheen Afridi’s Qalandars look like a team reborn after their thrashing of Quetta. Fakhar Zaman, who scored 67 runs, is back in form. Sam Billings too hammered 50 runs off just 19 balls. Their batting is formidable, while Shaheen and Haris Rauf bring the heat with the ball. Rishad Hossain and Sikandar Raza are their spin weapons.
