Former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) cricketer Ambati Rayudu has picked his top four for the IPL 2025 playoffs. There is still almost a month to go for the playoffs, and Rayudu has made his predictions already.
With the second half of the season already underway, Gujarat Titans (GT), Delhi Capitals (DC), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), and Mumbai Indians (MI) are the top four teams in the points table.
PBKS (10 points), LSG (10 points), KKR (6 points) and RR (4 points) are the next four teams on the IPL 2025 points table. SRH and CSK are the bottom two teams with four points each as well.
Ambati Rayudu Reveals His Top 4
Speaking to Star Sports, Ambati Rayudu has already revealed his top four, with still a lot of time left for the end of the league stage. Most teams have six league games remaining, while some have five. He revealed his teams to make the playoffs but snubbed DC from his list, who are placed second on the table as of now. He chose GT, PBKS, RCB and MI as his top four teams.
The likes of Aaron Finch, Mark Boucher and Sanjay Bangar shared their predictions as well. Kumble picked GT, DC, and MI as his top three teams. He said that RCB and PBKS will have a tussle between themselves to finish fourth.

Former Australian skipper Aaron Finch made his top four predictions as well. He picked GT, DC, MI and LSG as his top four teams. Former South African wicket-keeper batsman Mark Boucher voted for GT, DC, RCB and MI as his picks for the playoffs.
Sanjay Bangar, who has worked with IPL franchises like RCB and PBKS in the past, kept both of them as his choices. His first pick was Delhi Capitals, second Punjab Kings, and third Royal Challengers Bengaluru and he opted for GT or MI as his fourth team.
Former Indian spinner Piyush Chawla also revealed his picks. He backed GT, DC, PBKS and MI to make it through to the playoffs. Next, it was former Indian spinner Pragyan Ojha who picked GT, MI, DC and RCB as his picks for the playoffs.

Former Indian cricketers Mohammad Kaif and Abhinav Mukund also shared their picks. Kaif backed GT, DC, RCB and PBKS to make it to the top 4, while Mukund voted for GT, DC, RCB and MI.
Collectively, Gujarat Titans, Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Mumbai Indians received the most votes to make the IPL 2025 Playoffs. None of the experts backed the likes of KKR, SRH and CSK to make it through.
