Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) completely changed the way how T20 cricket in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season was played. They amassed the highest ever total in IPL (287) runs, and surpassed 250 three times. Such was their assault in one game that it led to showdown between Sanjiv Goenka and the then LSG skipper KL Rahul. SRH's attacking and fearless intent while batting was a sight to behold. This year also their mantra is same - Play boldly, and keep on attacking.
SRH have retained the core of the squad and have added more power hitters in Ishan Kishan and Abhinav Manohar. With match winning batters right from number one to six, SRH will be ready hunt down or put a huge score on board.

Batting line-up to be envious of
Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma will open the innings. This combination was a nightmare for the bowling attack. There is only one gear when these two bat and that is top gear. Add to that at number three SRH have got the power of Ishan Kishan. The pocket dynamite is capable of taking the game away within a blink of an eye. SRH also have one of best finishers going around in Klassen.
Reddy and Cummis round the top seven. SRH also can play Abhinav Manohar. The batter is coming off a good form in domestic white-ball tournaments for Karnataka. With so much firepower, SRH would be hoping to post 300 this time in IPL.

Experience in bowling attack
SRH were often guilty of being erratic in the death overs in IPL 2024 as there was no support for Cummins in back end. This time, SRH have added Harshal Patel and Mohammed Shami into the team. The duo bring in vast amount of experience, and have smart variations in the back end of the innings. SRH have also good backup options in pace with Ehsan Malinga, Simarjeet Singh and Jaydev Unadkat in the mix.
In the spin department, they have got two leg spinners in Zampa and Rahul Chahar. The latter has a point to prove as he been overlooked in the Indian team.
