The 18th season of the Indian Premier League is set to begin on March 22 at Eden Gardens. Defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first match of the tournament.
As part of the curtain-raiser tradition, the BCCI has planned to conduct a Captains' Meeting at their headquarters, which will also include a photo shoot of the captains with the trophy.
This tradition of the Captains' Meeting is something we see every year ahead of the tournament. This time, it becomes even more special as the majority of the teams have new captains following the mega auction.
