England were tested by the Indian spinners in Kolkata. More of the same is expected for them in Chennai as well which is historically a venue that aids the spinners. The visitors have already named their playing XI making one change to their XI. India, on the other hand, are sweating over the injury to Abhishek Sharma.

The pitch at the Chepauk has been a turning wicket for years. The nature of the pitch has not changed over the years. The venue will aid the Indian spinners to the maximum. India played with three spinners in Kolkata and they should play with three spinners in Chennai as well. This is the home ground for Varun Chakravarthy who knows the pitch inside out and hence he will be the bowler to watch out for. It is expected to be a battle between the spinners from both sides. England found themselves short of arsenal in the first T20I with Adil Rashid playing as the lone spinner. The team selection made the difference in the first T20I. England will need to be tactical with their playing XI in the second T20I.
