Suresh Raina has predicted Rohit Sharma to score his 33rd ODI ton in the third and final ODI against England on Wednesday. Rohit scored his 32nd century in the second ODI in Cuttack and Rain expects him to go back to back.

Rohit Sharma's 32nd ODI ton shaped India's win over Engalnd in the second ODI in Cuttack. The hosts won the second ODI by four wickets as they handsomely chased down 305 with four wickets to spare.

Meanwhile, Suresh Raina, in an interaction with Star Sports said that he was impressed with how Rohit batted and said that his 33rd ODI ton is also loading in Ahmedabad.

"I had already said in the show that today is Rohit’s day. There was a different vibe in Cuttack, the fielding was sharp, and that’s how big players are—they win the series today, and they won’t leave Ahmedabad without seizing another opportunity. That 33rd century is also loading—I’m telling you" said Raina on Star Sports.

Rohit Sharma Currently Stands On 32 ODI Tons

Rohit is currently third in the list of most centuries in ODI cricket. He has 32 centuries now. The list is led by Virat Kohli who has 50 ODI hundreds with Sachin Tendulkar placed second with 49 ODI tons. Meanwhile, Rohit has got himself upto number two in the list of most sixes in ODIs. After hitting seven maximums in the second ODI, Rohit is now on 338 ODI sixes. Shahid Afridi leads the list with 351.

Raina also praised Rohit's footwork and the way he took on the England spinners, especially Adil Rashid. The England leg spinner went for 78 off his 10 overs and picked up the wicket of Virat Kohli.

"That 69 m six, the first shot—it deserves some commentary! My voice is already fading, but that flow, that signature of a great player, was evident. Look at all those shots in the ‘V’! He used his footwork brilliantly against the spinners. He played fewer dot balls after each boundary and six, focusing more on rotation," said Raina.

Rohit Sharma now having got his batting form back will definitely like to end the series on a high by scoring his 33rd ODI ton.
