Reddy finished the series as India's second-highest run-getter (298 runs from 9 innings) and the fourth-highest run-getter overall. He averaged nearly 40 with the bat and also picked up five wickets in the series.

He scored his maiden Test ton in Melbourne that helped India post 369 runs in their first innings in response to Australia's total of 474. His knock was not enough too help India win the Test match, unfortunately.
