Kuldeep Yadav has made a return for Uttar Pradesh for their Ranji Trophy match against Madhya Pradesh that started from Thursday. Kuldeep's return will surely bolster the UP bowling lineup.
On Thursday, UP won the toss and opted to bat first. Madhya Pradesh has made a solid start with the bat with the openers adding 50 runs for the first wicket. Meanwhile, Kuldeep is making a comeback to competetive cricket after a hernia surgery, as per ESPNCricinfo.
With both UP and MP out of contention for the quarterfinals, Kuldeep will get some quality game time to check his fitness and rhythm ahead of the three-match ODI series against England from February 6 onwards. Kuldeep is a part of that series and in the provisional ICC Champions Trophy squad as well.

Meanwhile, talking about last international match, he played the first Test against New Zealand at Bengaluru in October 2024. He was not included in the next two matches. The chinaman was also not included in the Indian squad for the Test series against Australia. He is very much India's lead spinner in ODI cricket now with Yuzvendra Chahal no longer in contention.
