Team India In Deep Waters After Rahul Dravid's Coaching Tenure
Speaking about Rahul Dravid, he gave up on India coaching after helping the team win the T20 World Cup title for the second time in June last year. Under him, the team achieved a lot of success with the T20 World Cup win topping them all.
Gautam Gambhir replaced him as the next coach of the Indian team and things have started going downhill. After losing the ODI series to Sri Lanka at the start of 2024, the team under Gambhir failed to win the Test series against Australia and could not retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
The BCCI then had to intervene and take some tough calls after their below-par performance against Australia. India will be playing a white-ball series against England followed by the Champions Trophy 2025 under Gambhir and his coaching staff who are under the scanner.
