Usman Khawaja-Josh Inglis vs Sri Lanka

Usman Khawaja, Steve Smith and Josh Inglish tormented the Sri Lankan attack as they piled on the misery on day 2 of the first Test between the two sides at Galle.

Khawaja who started the day on 147 went on to score his maiden double ton in Test cricket. Smith who went past 10000 Test runs went onto score 141. However, the real impetus to the Australian innings was provided by Josh Inglish who scored his maiden Test century at a rate of knots.

Inglish scored 102 off 94 balls at a strike rate of over 100. It was due to his his quick scoring spree that helped the Aussies score over 100 runs in the first session on day two.
