It was Tim Seifert & Finn Allen's show in Dunedin against Pakistan in the second T20I as the duo's powerful knocks enabled an easy five-victory for New Zealand with 11 balls to spare. Chasing a modest target of 136 in 15 overs, Seifert (45) and Allen (38) blew Pakistan's opening bowlers Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Ali away by depositing seven sixes in the first three overs. This is the highest sixes hit for a full-member team in the first three overs. Such was the assault from Seifert and Allen, the match was over itself in the power play.
First, Seifert started to take the attack to the opposition by hitting Shaheen for four sixes in the third over of the innings. From there on, there was no looking back as Allen joined in to take the Pakistan bowling attack to the cleaners. Both batters peppered the short boundaries on offer on either side and thrived on the short-pitched bowling. After the duo's departure, Daryl Mitchell and Mitchell Hay completed the formalities.

For Pakistan, only Haris Rauf bowled well and picked up three wickets. The rest of the bowling attack cut a sorry figure. With this loss, New Zealand took a 2-0 lead in the five-match T20I series. Another win for the home side, and they will seal the series.
Pakistan look clueless, as New Zealand dominates in all aspects
This T20I series was supposed to test the bench strength of Pakistan without star players Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Naseem Shah. However, so far in two games, young players like Hasan Nawaz, Mohammad Haris, and Jahandad Khan have failed to press a case for themselves with dismal performances. Only, skipper Salman Ali Agha, Rauf, and Shadab Khan are looking confident, while the rest are looking clueless.
