Pakistan after being sent into bat first in the final T20I have been rocked early inside the powerplay. The side has lost three wickets with very little runs in the opening six overs. They again lost a wicket in the 8th over and finally reached 52/4 in the first 10 overs.
The Kiwi pacers Ben Sears and Jacob Duffy have been on the money taking early wickets. Duffy accounted for the wickets of Hasan Nawaz (0 off 3) and Omair Yousuf (7 off 11) inside the powerplay.
Mohammad Haris, the wicketkeeper-batsman was taken out by Ben Sears with a searing bouncer. Haris failed to connect the pull and instead was caught by the keeper on a miss hit.

In the final T20I as well, they kept losing wickets regularly in the first 10 overs that did not give them any momentum into their innings. After losing three wickets inside the powerplay, Ish Sodhi picked up Usman Khan (7 off 7) just outside the powerplay in the 8th over.
New Zealand have well and truly put the brakes on Pakistan's scoring rate in the first 10 overs. The pacers were on the money right from the start and they have been backed up brilliantly by Ish Sodhi who picked up a wicket in his very first over. He bowled his second over which was the 10th for Pakistan giving away just six runs as Pakistan scored 52/4 in the first 10 overs.
