Riyan Parag always finds ways to be more in the news for his off-field antics than for his on-field ones. The Rajasthan Royals (RR) stand-in captain is yet again in the news for showing an unnecessary attitude to a ground staff member at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. The incident came to light after the Parag-led RR beat CSK by six runs on Sunday.
After RR emerged as victorious, the ground staff members wanted to get a selfie with local hero Parag. The RR batter obliged and posed for photos before he threw the mobile phone back at one of the staff members. This rude and arrogant gesture by Parag did not go well with netizens, who trolled him for not being humble and modest with ground staff members.

Sanju Samson set to return as captain for RR
For the unversed, before the start of the IPL 2025 season, it was revealed that Sanju Samson would only be playing as an impact sub for RR for the first three games owing to a finger injury he sustained during the England series. With Samson not being fully fit to keep, he only played as a specialist batter in the three games for RR.
