India's Mr. Fix it and now Delhi Capitals (DC) Mr. dependable KL Rahul (93) runs yet again came to rescue for his side. The right-hand batter absorbed all the pressure, and took calculative risks, as DC beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by six wickets in the match 24 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season. At the halfway stage, RCB were on top of the 164-run chase, as DC lost three wickets in the power play.
However, Rahul, who knows M Chinnaswamy surface on back of his hand played a gem of a knock. The turning point of the run chase was his taking down of RCB's most reliable bowler Josh Hazlewood for 22 runs in the 14th over. That assault from Rahul titled the match heavily in favor of DC.

From there on, Tristan Stubbs (38) runs took over, as DC easily chased the target down. Things could have turned a lot worse if Rahul's catch was held by Rajat Patidar on five runs. A little bit of luck was all that DC batter needed, as he pounced on anything short and played straight shots to the spinners. Rahul and Stubbs shared an unbroken 121-run stand for the fifth wicket.
DC maintains unbeaten run, second on the points table after win against RCB
DC, who lost their first position on the points table to GT, stay firm at the second position on account of this convincing win against RCB. Along with KL Rahul, Stubbs chipped in with useful cameo, and got DC over the line. This loss for RCB was their second successive defeat in the row at their home ground.
