Virat Kohli is making a comeback to domestic cricket after 12 years. He is a part of the Delhi playing XI for their match against Railways that got underway on January 30.

Delhi won the toss and elected to bat first. Railways are already five down and did not have a good start with the bat. Pacers Navdeep Saini, Siddhant Sharma, and Money Grewal have given the side a good start with the ball. Saini has picked up a wicket and the two other pacers have picked up two each.

Shivam Sharma Makes Bold Statement On Virat Kohli

Meanwhile, Delhi all-rounder Shivam Sharma has made a big statement on Virat Kohli's return to domestic cricket. So far he has had a little role to play, however, Sharma has backed him to score big runs in the game against Railways. Talking about Shivam Sharma, he has bowled just seven overs in the match giving away 27 runs and remaining wicketless.

“I can’t say anything about his performance. But yes, obviously, he is a world-class player. He looks like he is in good touch and everything. So, I think he will make good runs in this match,” Shivam told My Khel.

He further said that the players have mingled well with the former Indian skipper and they are trying to make the most of his presence with the team.

“He is getting along very well with everyone. He has kept everyone comfortable. With his presence in the team, the entire squad is very confident. “There are many youngsters in our team who is meeting Virat bhai for the first time. And the way he is mingling is outstanding,” he added.
