Rahmanullah Gurbaz the opener has failed to give his team consistent starts which has added pressure to the middle-order batters and they have ultimately crumbled under pressure. The biggest test for Afghanistan against England will be whether their batters can weather the storm from the England pacers and give the team a fighting total.
England, on the other hand, have suffered a huge blow ahead of the game. Pacer Bryson Carse has been ruled out with a toe injury with Rehan Ahmed named as his replacement. It will be interesting to see whether the two spinners Rehan Ahmed and Adil Rashid play together in the lineup.
