Former Indian batter Virender Sehwag has found himself in the middle of an unwanted controversy regarding his divorce with his wife Aarti Ahlawat. The two have been married for over 20 years and the news of their divorce has taken the Indian cricketing fraternity by storm.

The two have been married since 2004 and have two sons namely, Aryaveer and Vedant. While the speculations are on, Sehwag and his wife have refrained from commenting anything yet.

Who is Virender Sehwag's Wife Aarti Ahlawat

Aarti was born in New Delhi on December 16, 1980. She always kept her away from the limelight being Sehwag's wife. She studied in Lady Irwin Secondary School and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan before graduating from Maitreyi College, Delhi University, with a diploma in computer science. Finally, in 2004, she married Virender Sehwag held at the home of former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. They were among the most enduring celebrity couples. However, as per reports, they are parting ways because their relationship has turned sour in recent times.

Talking about Virender Sehwag, he was one of the most celebrated Indian cricketers to have played the game. He played 104 Test matches, 251 ODIs and 19 T20Is for India. He is the only Indian batsman to score 300 runs in Tests and ODIs. Also, he is the first Indian cricketer to score 300 in Test cricket with Karun Nair joining him in that elite list in 2016.
